Synopsis

Karmeut confesses his deep love for Reinelle, acknowledging his initial confusion between romantic and familial feelings but ultimately asserting his desire to be exclusively with her. Following this confession, the Emperor dies, thrusting Karmeut into a hectic period of preparation for his coronation, and he also hunts down the remnants of a rebellious group. Reinelle worries that they are not able to see each other, but is happy to see his resolve and trusts that it will all be resolved soon. The chapter ends with Karmeut becoming incredibly busy, leaving Reinelle to wait for their next meeting.
