Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist escaping a powerful group, displaying a sudden and significant increase in power. He then arrives at a seemingly normal inn, 'The Fat Cat', which he learns is run by a secret organization connected to his family. By observing interactions and overheard conversations, he figures out the inn's password and sets the stage for the next phase of his journey. It also introduces that the protagonist is the seventh son of Mayton and needs money.
