Synopsis

The protagonist is subjected to a painful 'Decatra Ritual' that engraves magic into his arm. He receives a powerful robe from his sister, which she used on her own pilgrimage. He finally departs on his pilgrimage, and a friend gives him a letter from a witch which hints at training and future plans for him.
