Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist's internal monologue on internal energy and its application, then transitions to him being in a tense confrontation with an ascetic, which is interrupted by members of the Jaegal family's Azure Fire Squad. They suspect him of working with an evil sect. After a brief interaction, the protagonist manages to use the situation to his advantage, escaping with his companions to a city inn, intending to recover and then retaliate against their pursuers. Both the Jaegal family and the Wudang Sect are now after them.
