Synopsis

The chapter opens with a confrontation as the Demon Extermination Squad Captain requests the help of the protagonist to save the fortress master, who is experiencing a rare and dangerous deadification. However, the Disruption and Despair Tower Captains, now revealed to be part of the 'Forbidden Heaven,' intervene, questioning the loyalty to the fortress master, who they see as an out-of-control being. A battle ensues, where the Tower Captains showcase unexpected and dangerous power, hinted to be linked to their own 'deadification'.
