Synopsis

This chapter explains that after a great war, souls found rest in a place called 'Chaos,' where they didn't age or feel hunger. However, they yearned for a more 'real' life, leading to the formation of the 'Abyss Expedition' to find the 'Fruit of Resurrection' in the Abyss. The expedition partially succeeded in obtaining the fruit, but was ambushed on the way back. This fruit allows beings from the 'Almighty Land' to revive repeatedly, perpetuating a cycle of conflict, while also revealing the past of a character who traveled with the expedition leader.
