Synopsis

The chapter depicts the Judgment Ceremony, a tradition to assess children's mana abilities. Many are impressed by the talents of others, particularly Burren Zieghardt, who displays powerful wind mana. However, the protagonist, Laon, disappoints everyone by exhibiting extremely weak mana, causing widespread ridicule. Despite this, his caregiver, Sylvia, comforts him, while the chapter ends hinting that Laon may have a latent power of gold.
