Synopsis

The chapter opens with discussions of the powerful Zieghardt family and their judgment ceremony, where Laon, son of the ostracized Sylvia, is a controversial participant. Laon's condition, a mana blockage, is explained, and we see him receive medicine and training. The chapter then shows a time skip, where despite his condition, Laon, now five, has advanced in his martial arts and is developing a 'Ring of Fire' technique, and has a message system only he can see. The family prepares to attend a major event at the main building.
