Synopsis

The chapter opens with Kaeram, a demonic sword, attempting to assert control over its user, Aschel. It reveals its true intention is to possess its wielder. Aschel is introduced and it's revealed that he is linked to past events. Flashbacks detail a past war where humans used holy weapons against demons. Kaeram explains its history, and how it's destined to be possessed by Aschel. In the end a hidden passage is found, and Aschel encounters Kaeram now fully awakened and demanding to be slayed.
