Synopsis

The protagonist, struggling with his swordsmanship, spends two weeks training in a secluded area he used to visit, following a divine revelation about a temple. He battles an unseen assailant while honing his skills, realizing his physical limitations. Later, he receives a package from his deceased sister, Alice, containing Hellhound blood, a potent substance that could increase his strength and mana. He prepares to drink it despite its poisonous nature, having had experience with poisonous substances from his cook.
