Synopsis

The chapter opens with the village preparing for a full-scale attack against a large, powerful frog monster. Their initial arrow assault proves futile, prompting a shift to a poison-based strategy using poisonous frogs. However, the situation takes a turn when Black-Scaled Lizardmen, seemingly allied with a figure named "Owen the Bargainer", begin to sabotage the village from within, even burning parts of it to force a retreat. This leaves the villagers confused, with their initial attack failing and now facing internal betrayal and a powerful foe.
