Synopsis

The chapter opens with the group recovering when they are attacked by a seemingly invisible Bishop. The main character recalls his past training as an assassin, which included a brutal selection process. The group realizes the gate was a trap orchestrated by Kania, as the number of corpses does not match the supposed gate level. They are then confronted by a powerful boss monster, indicating they were used as bait.
