Synopsis

Count Benjamin arrives at the Magentano Empire to meet the Emperor but is instead greeted by the Crown Prince, who immediately assesses his poor health. The Prince reveals the Emperor is ill with the flu, forcing the meeting to be conducted by the Prince. It is also revealed that the Amboise Kingdom, which Count Benjamin represents, is a rising power destined to cause a great war and bring down the Magentano Kingdom in the near future. The chapter ends with the Crown Prince using health concerns to take control of the meeting and gain the upper hand.
