Synopsis

Chukon is cornered and taunted about his failures, especially the loss of the compass and his allies. He then observes Carl Zipple's surprising strength, realizes he is more powerful than anticipated, and decides to capture him instead of retrieving the compass. This decision comes as he deduces that capturing Carl will be more beneficial to his commander. The chapter concludes by revealing the arrival of other factions, including Bement's Special Affairs Division and a warship from the Bellado Empire, as well as the news of the compass's theft.
