Synopsis

The chapter reveals that a sixth magic tower is manipulating events, fueling conflict between humans and Dragonkin. Vinchen is invited by the Dragonkin to mediate, and they ultimately ask for his help to prevent a war, which he agrees to by promising to destroy the sixth magic tower. He challenges Kalbek, a powerful Dragonkin swordsman, to a duel in a month to determine whether the Dragonkin will wage war or seek peace.
