Synopsis

The chapter explains the repeated cycles of destruction and recreation of the world by the Rulers using the Cup of Reincarnation, who also created Hunters to survive the battles. It reveals that the Sovereigns also manipulated the world by utilizing human hosts, and reveals that the System was designed by 'the Architect' to gradually enhance the protagonist to become a host for the Shadow Monarch by using game-like mechanics based on human preferences. The chapter ends with the Shadow Monarch offering the protagonist a choice to either stay in a dream-like state or return to the real world and fight again.
