Synopsis

The protagonist is attempting to escape a dangerous situation by getting adopted into the Visenna family. She is subjected to a test where she must choose between drinking poison and failing or answering a question about the family's weakness. She recalls details about a character from a book, realizing that while the Duke seems indestructible, he was defeated by a magical goblet, which she presents as a warning to be careful rather than a weakness. Surprisingly, the protagonist passes the test despite seemingly not answering directly.
