Synopsis

The protagonist returns from the capital, where she reveals she was adopted into the Visenna family. She discovers that the Duke, Ferze, is preparing to leave to fight rebels and monsters, leading to her concern for his safety. Meanwhile, the political maneuvering around her adoption and Ferze's actions are alluded to, including the Emperor's suspicion and attempt to control him. She expresses a desire for Ferze's safe return and is told she needs to grow up quickly to avoid rumors.
