Synopsis

The chapter opens with a failed kidnapping of the Lady, who is now secured in Peril Castle. The villains, despite their failure, begin a full assault on the castle, confident in their superior numbers. Meanwhile, the main characters, pursued by hostile forces, reach Peril Castle and are surprisingly met with a royal escort. The chapter ends with a mercenary call-up led by the 'Mercenary King' in the Avalon Empire, adding another element of conflict to the escalating situation.
