Synopsis

The chapter opens with Xerath, a legendary mage, returning and effortlessly reflecting Captain Rodd's attacks. He reveals his past invincibility to knights and claims Rodd is weak now. Simultaneously, other groups discuss the looming threat of war instigated by Duke Arden, the growing undead army led by the Lich, and their need to find the Holy Grail. The chapter ends with Joshua undergoing a mysterious transformation while also revealing his connection to Xerath.
