Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist defeating a Shoggoth using a specific song that breaks its magical connections, a secret of his demon god cult. He then seeks to get closer to Ned, by fooling him with the same martial arts. This leads to a confrontation with another cult member, Minern, who sees through some of his moves. Minern recognizes the protagonist's use of the Dragon King Style and the protagonists' ability to manipulate electricity, implying a hidden training regime as a 'shadow apprentice'.
