Synopsis

The protagonist realizes they are in the world of a game they used to play, and must help Prince Karmeut, who is currently weak, awaken his powers using a rare item called the Kroban Rock. They recall the game's mechanics, including the risk of death if given the rock to a character with low interest. They also begin to form a strong bond with Karmeut, enjoying his company and finding solace in his presence, which conflicts with their desire to return to their own world. The chapter ends with the protagonist pondering the risks and benefits of using the Kroban Rock to awaken the Prince.
