Synopsis

The chapter introduces a new employee who is overwhelmed with accounting work and feels underappreciated. He encounters a seemingly dismissive department head and feels challenged. Meanwhile, the department head is dealing with the reappearance of information regarding 'Scorpio', a past incident that continues to haunt him, and shows a harsh exterior to the newcomer as he tests him with tasks seemingly designed to break him. The chapter ends with the new employee further enraged but determined to prove his worth.
