Synopsis

The protagonist, having nearly been caught, retreats to assess the situation, realizing he's now a target. The Empire learns of the Zero Corps Commander's supposed strength and plans to send an assassin, hoping to reveal their true power or lack thereof. Meanwhile, the protagonist poisons a drink meant for one of their enemies. The chapter also hints at internal dissent and hidden agendas among both the Demon and Empire troops.
