Synopsis

The chapter opens with the King and Grand Prince Jinseong escaping in a hot air balloon, much to the dismay of the officials. They successfully land near the city gates, and despite initial attempts to shoot down the balloon, they manage to enter the city with the aid of their loyalists. The King confronts the rebel leader, Park Wonjong, accusing him of abusing his position and causing chaos. The chapter ends with the King openly challenging Park's authority and the legitimacy of the revolt.
