Synopsis

The chapter exposes Mintaeck's numerous abuses against the people of Geumseog-ri, confirming the Grand Prince's assault victim status and connecting Mintaeck to the influential Min Hui. The King, already enraged by Mintaeck's actions and his familial link to Min Hui, orders an investigation and the arrest of those who enabled Mintaeck's crimes. The King's rage is further fueled by the knowledge that the very people sworn to protect citizens failed their duty by ignoring reports of Mintaeck's misdeeds.
