Synopsis

The chapter opens with a Holy Knight confronting a missionary who is revealed to be an imposter, leading to her capture and interrogation. Meanwhile, the main character investigates the circumstances of the Guildmaster's murder, but is interrupted and forced to flee. After consuming more hybrid creatures, they also obtain a sea snake to aid their underwater mobility and further their goal of becoming the ultimate organism by absorbing the abilities of what they eat.
