Synopsis

The chapter begins with the introduction of a 'war weapon' Kraken and a discussion of the local church's inaction. Then, the focus shifts to an intermediate knight who is tasked with investigating the adventurers' guild. This knight uses modified cheetah physiology to be fast enough to get to a crime scene, he then plants evidence of the guildmaster's corruption by forging documents and creates recordings to implicate the guildmaster and assistant, then the knight kills both the guildmaster and his assistant.
