Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Martial Emperor, spurred by the actions of the Hunan's Dan Family, arrives at a suspicious manor. He's greeted by a young child, then upon reaching the manor's main pavilion, he finds the leaders of the Demonic Cult and Orthodox Sect playing Go together. He realizes that they are the ones who actually were behind the death of his subordinates he thought were killed by others. The chapter ends on a cliffhanger, with the Martial Emperor stunned by the unexpected alliance, wondering what the manor master is planning.
