Synopsis

The chapter opens with a warrior, heavily injured but alive, reporting the successful assassination of Ma Dokuin. He has fulfilled his orders and has no regrets despite his near-death experience. The corpses of Ma Dokuin and another are then sent as a message to the Martial Emperor Fortress. Simultaneously, the Fortress Master is contacted about a missing son and his men, who were last seen in Hunan and seems to be looking for a runaway named Mujin.
