Synopsis

After a successful bandit subjugation, the group is ambushed by the Snake Church, who control snakes with whistles. In the chaos, the cleric Gottval is bitten by a venomous snake while trying to protect someone. Despite the danger, Gottval reveals his faith in a peaceful afterlife, which prompts the person he saved to offer to believe in his god instead of letting him die.
