Synopsis

The chapter focuses on Larsen Mayton, who is revealed to be a key character who was originally the author. He receives a unique artifact, the 'Thousand-Year Dragon's Chestplate,' which transforms into a form that protects him. He meets the combat kings and learns that people's strength is tied to their 'aura' or lack thereof. He discovers an antidote to the poison used on the protagonist by the antagonists. After a brief period he also tests out the chestplate's durability, leading him to start mana breathing training and making him more aware of his need to become stronger.
