Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist realizing the administrative burden of rebuilding the Five Dragon Palace and needing to secure funding. He decides to travel to Danjiangkou, using the excuse that it’s for a drink. However, his travels lead him to a gambling den where he discovers a large sum of hidden treasures, including a phosphorescent pearl. Afterward, he uses the discovered wealth to approach the head of the Wu family, successfully persuading him to fund the reconstruction of the Five Dragon Palace by offering to engrave the Wu family name and promising their son the chance of becoming a Wudang sect master.
