Synopsis

The chapter opens with the aftermath of a failed illegal trade, involving the Cheongyang Merchant Association and Gong Sacheok's gang. Jinmu, arriving in town, is hailed as a hero for stopping the trade. He meets the local magistrate and is introduced to JinHye's father, a connection the scheming JinHye uses to his advantage, planning to manipulate Jinmu to reach his goals and become the master disciple. The chapter ends with JinHye secretly plotting Jinmu's downfall.
