Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist preparing for a trip to the capital, during which he is accompanied by others, including the cook and Ron. Bilose expresses his desire to be recognized by his family. The protagonist reflects on Bilose's complex motivations and his own past as a troublemaker, and is also developing a heart-powered shield that he intends to use against strong warriors. Finally, the protagonist is confronted by a character who wishes to look after two kittens.
