Synopsis

The main character, seemingly after absorbing a new ability, engages in combat with assassins who have come looking for his traveling companion. He displays impressive dodging and speed, along with a mind control ability he stole previously. The assassins are revealed to be a woman with regeneration and a large, strong man, suggesting they are trying to distract the protagonist while others kidnap his companion. The chapter ends with the protagonist using mind control on one of the assassins.
