Synopsis

The chapter begins with an intense fight that ends with a surprisingly calm conversation where the old man reveals he knew the protagonist's mother. He explains that he's been waiting for him and that the protagonist was being watched over. He then gives the protagonist a necklace as a protective charm, while warning him of an enemy who aims to become a dragon, tied to his mother's death. The protagonist has a dream or memory glimpse of his mother, a stormy night and their house being struck by lightning.
