Synopsis

Jaehwan is brought before the Demon Extermination Squad and Divine Physician, who suspect him of being the Emissary of the Emerald Bug due to his possession of Spirit Stones. He explains his acquisition of the stones, revealing the previous owners were killed. Jaehwan then unintentionally replicates the Divine Physician's technique, the Dead Slash, leading to him being identified as a rare 'Awakened', someone who exists outside of the system. The chapter ends with the Dark Shadow Squad Captain arriving, calling Jaehwan the 'Emissary of the Emerald Bug', further complicating the situation.
