Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the protagonist's initial trial: surviving in a room that eliminates all five senses. They attempt to manage their magic and meditate, but ultimately struggle with the loss of sensation, which leads to a distorted perception of time and reality. The protagonist proposes doubling the trial's duration in exchange for learning a telepathic skill from the resident monk. Despite running out of magic and experiencing mental disorientation, they continue to analyze their situation and try to find solutions.
