Synopsis

The protagonist spends two days in constant guerrilla warfare against a horde of surprisingly coordinated scythe-armed orangutan monsters, unable to eat, drink, or sleep. He is eventually surrounded and learns they may have a leader and some form of long range coordination skill. He considers a dangerous cliff climb as his only option when his flying ability is temporarily sealed, and he finds more of the monsters at the cliff base, which he taunts before the chapter ends.
