The chapter begins with the protagonist being recognized for his unexpected abilities, despite being 'just a porter'. The protagonist, after saving a group, initially declines their offer to join them but ultimately agrees to accompany them in exchange for them not revealing his past secrets and a misunderstanding about his true identity ensues when it's revealed he knows the leader of the group.
