Synopsis

The chapter begins with the guild masters of the three major guilds arriving at World's Edge to discuss a deal for beast mounts. They try to appraise the protagonist's older brother's skills, but are stopped by his pet cat. The negotiation becomes intense, with the guild masters trying to recruit the older brother, who manages the conversation skillfully. The episode concludes with the guild masters being impressed by the older brother's negotiating prowess and his obvious bond to World's Edge, much to the chagrin of the younger brother, guild master of World's Edge.
