Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist using a special item infused with Charlotte's mana, which allows him to quickly defeat a powerful enemy. It is revealed that this enemy was using stolen memories to gain power, a skill possibly given by the Jellyfish. The protagonist, frustrated with his current allies' lack of answers and perceived dishonesty about saving the world, decides to consider the Jellyfish's contract offer, hoping to protect his friends, even if it means betraying his current allies. His allies manage to persuade him to delay the choice for three weeks while they find him a suitable item or skill.
