Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the aftermath of several suspicious incidents, revealing that corrupt Association executives orchestrated a purposeful dungeon break and truck accident. The protagonist and his group use this as an opportunity to collect evidence and expose the executives, replacing them with a new set of S-class individuals. It is implied these replacements are under the control of the protagonist and his group by having them sign a binding contract. A new character with corpse-reading skills is introduced to aid the investigation, and the group works quickly to dismantle the corrupted structures within the Association.
