Synopsis

The chapter opens with the clan leader being ambushed, but he's saved by someone he was planning to kill. He then hires a master artisan, Yeon Ja Sung, to lead the construction of a new inn, promising him a leadership position. The clan leader receives a strange weapon request and is then approached by a messenger from the Black Mystic Union, who delivers an invitation to meet the Golden Phoenix Pavilion Master, hinting at dire consequences if he refuses.
