Synopsis

The chapter begins with the successful completion of a raid on orcs, but Raon reveals that someone was watching them, and they have discovered that the orcs and goblins are working together, suggesting manipulation. He gives the leadership role to Burren to observe this hidden enemy, and decides to start a stealth mission with a return to the village after discovering they are dealing with a threat connected to Eden. The group, now aware of a larger threat, is split on whether to intervene to save the village immediately or wait for the right opportunity.
