Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist making a deal with the Demon King to avoid a future war, promising not to invade human lands in exchange for the protagonist's help. The protagonist then returns to his side and begins to think about the circumstances. The protagonist then encounters the Demon King again, but as a child who claims to be the ruler of demon territory but does not seem to match the terrifying being he remembers from his past life. The chapter ends with the protagonist realizing this new, seemingly kinder Demon King is suppressing a more sinister side and that a specific event must be prevented to stop his transformation.
