Synopsis

Ghislain, after initially appearing to be at a disadvantage, cleverly challenges his opponent, Kane, to a bare-handed fight instead of a swords duel, doubling the bet. He wins the fight, seemingly easily, and uses the money to host a feast. It's later revealed Ghislain's true plan involves investing the money to prepare for an undisclosed business opportunity, not for a gift, and the chapter also shows Ghislain's strained relationship with his father's dealings and the Loges family’s issues.
