Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist facing a chaotic situation: the festival is canceled, merchants are angry, and the county lacks soldiers due to an orc raid. He discovers his allowance is cut off, leaving him broke and powerless. Simultaneously, a failed assassination attempt on him by his enemies is revealed. Despite this, the protagonist begins devising a strategy, drawing on his past life knowledge of mana manipulation, to solve his financial and military problems and prepares to leverage his cousin as a means of getting closer to his goals.
