Lee Hoyeol awakens as his middle-school persona, Grandfell, a Demon Hunter from a now-defunct VR game, Archana. The game world has merged with reality, and "Players" have emerged with in-game powers. Demon Hunters, previously considered a weak and pointless class, are now vital in fighting new demons, but almost all are wiped out. Lee, burdened with cringey memories and the over-the-top persona, must accept his role as potentially the last Demon Hunter despite his low stats and inexperience, while coping with how his new reality affects his daily life and speech.
The protagonist, Lee Hoyeol, finds himself in the body of his old video game character, a Demon Hunter, after the game's world merges with reality and the once-useless class is now crucial, forcing him to grapple with his past.
